Emma trained at Whitehouse Ballet School from age 5-18, studying and undertaking exams in the RAD syllabus from Pre-Primary through to Grade 8 as well as Intermediate. During her time at Whitehouse, Emma took part in a number of the schools’ productions and summer schools and from 2015-2018 volunteered as a teaching assistant.
In 2018 Emma moved to London to continue her teacher training at the Royal Academy of Dance, studying on the BA (Hons) Ballet Education programme as well as the Licentiate of the Royal Academy of Dance course. During her time at RAD Emma continued her ballet training, completing exams in Advanced Foundation and Advanced 1, as well as gaining experience in a number of different styles including Contemporary and Jazz. Whilst at RAD Emma was also a member of the education company, a student led group that designed and delivered dance workshops to key stage 1 pupils in a number of local primary schools.
Emma is very excited to be back at Whitehouse Ballet School and looks forward to taking on her new role as a teacher.
